  Zoom’s weekend

  Step I. Lead-in:

  Ask students to sing a song.

  “Good afternoon,everyone. Nice to meet you. How are you now And I have a present for you. It’s a song. Let’s sing together!”

  Lead students to play a game:Bright eyes.

  “Do you like this song That’s good. And I have another present. A game: Bright eyes.Ready Go!”

  設(shè)計意圖:通過唱歌和游戲活動,迅速拉近師生距離。同時,在短時間內(nèi)復(fù)習(xí)舊知,為新知的學(xué)習(xí)做準(zhǔn)備。

  Step II.Presentation:

  Ask students to talk about their own weekends.

  “Now I have a question: What did you do last weekend OK! I know your weekend.But how about our friend Zoom”

  Lead students to look at Zoom’s picture and guess:How was his weekend

  “Now look at the picture. Is he happy And how was his weekend Can you guess”

  Watch the video and check the answer.

  “All right.you have some guessing. But are you right Let’s watch the video and check the answers. So the answer is : ‘ It was busy.’”

  Listen to the record and underline the key sentences. Then ask students to finish Zoom’s we-chat moment in pairs.

  “OK. Now we’ll listen and underline the key sentences. So please look at the story and take out your pen. Have you finished Good. And now please look here: This is Zoom’s we-chat moment. So please work in pairs and finish it. Have you got the ideas Well-done. Who wanna try Can you put on the word cards

  Read the text together.

  “You did a good job! Now please look at your book. Let’s read the story together.”

  設(shè)計意圖:本環(huán)節(jié),首先安排學(xué)生談?wù)撟约旱闹苣愿玫匾鲋黝}——Zoom’s weekend. 而后,讓學(xué)生看圖猜測,以培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的觀察及預(yù)測能力。在觀看視頻核對答案后,會讓學(xué)生跟讀錄音“busy”,有效實現(xiàn)難點突破。之后,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生聽文本錄音并將關(guān)鍵句劃出,以幫助學(xué)生學(xué)會捕捉關(guān)鍵信息;而后,安排學(xué)生兩人合作,補全Zoom’s朋友圈,以進(jìn)一步鞏固信息,同時,為下文的復(fù)述做準(zhǔn)備;最后的齊讀則是再次回歸文本,深化記憶。

  Step III.Practice:

  Ask students to look at the pictures and retell the story.

  “After reading,can you retell the story by these pictures Let’

  s try together. Wow,so amazing!”

  Choose two students to retell the story by the key words.

  “Now who can retell the story by these key words”

  Retell the story in pairs.

  “Now please work in pairs and retell the story.”

  Lead students to talk about their opinions about Zoom’s weekend. And then give the emotional education.

  “We know that:Zoom’s weekend was busy. He did housework and homework. He visited his grandparents and they were happy. Then he played football. So there was work,joy and play in the story. And now what do you think of Zoom’s weekend Why Well,I think Zoom’s weekend was busy but colorful. And I hope all of you can have a colourful weekend and a colourful life.”

  設(shè)計意圖:本環(huán)節(jié)首先引導(dǎo)學(xué)生在圖片信息的支撐下,復(fù)述文本,培養(yǎng)其組織語言的能力。緊接著,在選取兩名學(xué)生做示范后,鼓勵學(xué)生兩人一組復(fù)述文本,既培養(yǎng)其學(xué)習(xí)能力,又能幫助樹立合作意識。在文本復(fù)述完成后,鼓勵學(xué)生發(fā)表自己的觀點:你認(rèn)為Zoom 的周末是怎樣的?而后,教師適時進(jìn)行情感教育:要過充實并多姿多彩的周末及人生。

  Step IV.Project:

  Look at the pictures and talk about Zoom’s friends’ weekend.

  “We know Zoom’s weekend.But how about his friends’ And who are they Now look: they are Zip, mole, koala, rabbit, sheep,dog,duck ,sheep and rats. How was their weekend And what did they do Can you guess And here’s the word bank.”

  Then  ask students to work in groups and write about other animals’ weekend. After that, ask students to show their jobs.

  “Now please work in groups and choose one animal to talk about.”

  設(shè)計意圖:本環(huán)節(jié)注重文本的拓展,考察學(xué)生運用所學(xué)語言續(xù)編故事的能力。在了解Zoom的朋友后,以小組為單位,合作完成故事文本的創(chuàng)編與擴(kuò)展,提升其語言綜合運用能力。

  Step V.Homework:

  Write about their own or parents’ weekends.

  “We’ve known Zoom and his friends’ weekend and how about your or your parents’ weekend. So after class,please write about it.”

  設(shè)計意圖:作業(yè)安排學(xué)生談?wù)撟约杭凹议L的周末,旨在讓學(xué)生學(xué)會用英語解決實際問題,提升實踐能力。

  教學(xué)反思

  本節(jié)課值得肯定的地方有:教學(xué)思路清晰,教學(xué)環(huán)節(jié)緊湊,大體上實現(xiàn)了既定的教學(xué)目標(biāo);參與作課的學(xué)生水平非常高,同時,在教學(xué)過程中,作課教師注重學(xué)生的參與度。因此,課堂氣氛活躍,學(xué)生的積極性與主動性得以充分發(fā)揮;在教學(xué)過程中,教師注重培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)能力,如看圖預(yù)測、劃關(guān)鍵句、看圖復(fù)述文本、續(xù)編故事等,教給學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)策略及思路,很好地提升了學(xué)生的綜合語言運用能力。需要改進(jìn)的地方有:導(dǎo)入環(huán)節(jié)的歌曲部分,氣氛還可以更熱烈,還可以更加側(cè)重學(xué)生的參與,以更好地調(diào)動其積極性;對環(huán)節(jié)任務(wù)設(shè)定有一定的偏差,安排的任務(wù)有點多,致使拓展環(huán)節(jié)的活動質(zhì)量受到一定影響;另外,拓展活動開展前的準(zhǔn)備工作耗時有點長,所以,在一定程度上影響了環(huán)節(jié)的開展與推進(jìn);小組數(shù)量預(yù)估錯誤,致使一個小組未及時得到卡紙,這樣的低級錯誤完全可以避免,絕不會有下次;另外,教師本身的教態(tài)也應(yīng)注意改善。
