　　A: How much will our order from your factory be?

　　B: I'll be happy to get back to you with an estimate in the next few days.

　　A: I'm afraid I can't wait that long. Can your office at least provide me with a ballpark figure?

　　B: Well, I would need an idea of how large your order would be. About how many units would you need?

　　A: Just give me an estimated figure for an order of 100 units.

　　A: Please give me a few minute to calculate.... Our asking price should be about $100 per unit with an order of 100. Is that price acceptable to you?

　　B: Your estimated is seems a little high to me, we're willing to pay $80 per unit.

　　A: Would an order of only 100 units, it'll be difficult to work within that kind of budget. Maybe if you were ordering 500 units or more units, we might be able to work something out.

　　我們從你們工廠訂的貨需要多少錢?

　　過幾天我很樂意給你們一個估價單.

　　恐怕我等不了那么久.至少你們部門能給我一個大概的數字吧?

　　好的,我需要知道你們的訂單有多大?大約需要多少套?

　　只要按100套的訂單給我一個大概的數字就行.

　　容我幾分鐘算算.我們的'要價是100套左右的訂單每套100美元.這個價格你們能接受嗎?

　　ballpark:an area or a range within which an amount is likely to be correct or within which something can be measured （數額的）變動范圍;可量范圍

　　The offers for the contract were all in the same ballpark. 就此合同的開價均在同一范圍內。

　　If you said five million you'd be in the ballpark. 如果你說的是五百萬,那就差不多了.

　　Give me a ballpark figure(= a number that is approximately right). 給我個大致恰當的數字.

　　acceptable:that somebody agrees is satisfactory or allowed 令人滿意的;可容許的 ~ (to sb)

　　We want a political solution that is acceptable to all parties. 我們需要一個各方都可接受的政治解決方案.

　　For this course a pass in English at grade B is acceptable. 英語成績 B 級就可以學這門課程.

　　Air pollution in the city had reached four times the acceptable levels. 這座城市的空氣污染程度曾高達可接受標準的四倍.

　　order:a request to make or supply goods 訂貨;訂購;訂單

　　I would like to place an order for ten copies of this book. 這本書我想訂購十冊。

　　an order form 訂貨單

　　The machine parts are still on order(= they have been ordered but have not yet been received) 機器零件尚在訂購之中。

　　These items can be made to order(= produced especially for a particular customer) 這幾項可以訂做。
