美國簽證面試是繼學校申請之后的又一個焦慮因素。尤其是在近期什么簽證看社交賬號啊、美國簽證審查更加嚴格啊什么的新聞影響下，一想到美簽面試就心慌。如何精心準備，讓我們的面試順利通過呢？要從材料、面簽印象、面簽問題回答等各個方面來綜合努力。
首先面試的著裝、禮儀是非常重要的。初次見面的第一印象是非常固化的，會影響著一個人對你的主觀看法并很難被改變。申請學生簽，那么你的穿著就要像一個學生，顯示出學生的特質。此外美國大使館簽證處完全處于美國政府的監控下，你的一舉一動就在攝像頭的監視之中。從你一踏入美領館開始，就要開始注意你的言行和禮儀。你要靜靜的排隊，跟著隊伍前進，不隨意插隊，聽從領館工作人員或保安人員的指揮。要記住，不當言行極有可能影響你的簽證結果。

過往經驗
關于這一方面，簽證官會問到以前學習的學校、專業，工作的公司名稱等，以及相關的一些細節。針對這類問題，申請者只需如實回答，并適時主動的出示證明自己言論的相關文件，比如畢業證、成績單、辭職信、以前的名片等。簽證官還會問選擇美國、目標學校、所學專業的原因，對于這部分問題，申請者要提高警惕。雖然有些申請者有畢業之后在美工作幾年或者移民的打算，但這正是我們重點向面試官回避的。
申請原因
我們可以從學術氛圍、可用資源、教育水平等方面強調美國的優勢，尤其可以強調自己的學校在所學專業上的特點。當簽證官問申請者申請了幾所學校，分別是什么的時候，一般列舉6、7個相同檔次的即可。如果申請的學校過多或者檔次拉開的過大，可能會給簽證官一個為了到美國而申請的印象，從而懷疑我們的留學動機。
專業程度
