　　商務英語4大瓶頸

　　瓶頸一: 專心英語，忽視商務。

　　突破方法：拓展商務背景，培養商務思維。

　　有的學員多年學習英語，甚至是英語專業畢業，英語足夠好，語法、詞匯以及聽說能力具佳，但通過商務英語學習，仍然無法獲得在商務場景下運用語言的能力。所以，學員們往往心態急切，要么是工作的人士，提高商務英語技能為工作需要，要么是即將畢業的學生，即將走入職場，試圖增加競爭的砝碼。

　　為了增加對商務英語詞匯的敏感性，需要了解涉及各個職能和行業的商務背景知識，前者常與某個職位相聯系，后者常與某個場景相聯系，所以在學習過程中，要側重提高在商務環境下應用語言的能力，以及涉及到的基本的商務背景知識。商務人士的說話語氣和交流思維，特別是英美人士的商務思維和日常生活中的思維是不同的。語言是思維的載體。思維方式的不同，造成了語氣和語言表達的不同。這也是Business English和General English的相異之處。

　　瓶頸二：專心商務，忽視英語。

　　突破方法：夯實基礎，從最實用的東西入手，獲得拿來即用的能力。

　　有的學員擁有多年的工作經驗和豐富的商務背景知識，但英語基礎不好，聽說讀寫能力都有待提高，以適應或應對工作中的對外溝通的需要。

　　商務英語學習應該明確動機，就是學習最實用的東西。對于以應試為目的的學生，如果只是從純應試的角度來入手的話，很難提高實用技能。當然商務英語考試(e.g. BEC & TOIEC)是很大程度上屬于能力考試，出題方面會最大限度的避免高分低能的現象。商務英語的教學經驗告訴我們，要增加學習的效率，要將應試與實用技能有機結合。實用的不一定是商務英語，而商務英語一定是實用的。商務英語課程講得不是純商務(Business Background)，也不是公共英語(General English)，講的是英語在商務環境下的應用，可以稱為英語商務，或商務英語。所以離開商務背景談商務英語學習是沒有意義的。學習的最好狀態不但要通過考試，更是要課上學到的東西出了教室就可以派上用場。

　　瓶頸三：缺乏實戰語境，不能學以致用。

　　突破方法：構造學習語境，依靠案例學習。

　　模擬真實案例學習的最大好處在于，讓學習進入實戰狀態，感受類似真實的商務場景。任何商務案例(Business Real-case)都是一個實用的“小故事”，學生應把自己當成故事中的主角，或是這個場景即將發生在他們身上。這樣的“故事”，可以幫助學生消化語言，提高技能。較簡單場景學生可以當堂練習，而較復雜的商務案例，學生可以有一定時間在課下準備。這樣可以防止學生在口語課堂上“練聽力”的尷尬。現學現賣是很好的感覺。一方面幫助學生消化課堂所學的內容，另外擴大了學生的視野，提高了他們的技能。學生課前充分準備包括思考或查找資料，然后進行課上商務英語實踐，這樣學生就在課下輸入(Input)在課上輸出(Output)，使所學的語言點和技能自然轉化，學生由被動接受(Receptive)變為主動參與(Productive)。另外，當把錯誤犯在課堂里的時候，可以有針對性的查漏補缺，增加學習效率。

　　通過案例學習不但實現了“實踐”，還學到了實用的理念。比如：由于商務英語表達的得體性(Gentle & Courteous)，學生應該學會在商務環境高效率溝通的方式：還包括最實用的技巧。比如：由于商務英語傳達信息的有效性(Informative)，學生應該學會為了達到商務目的而進行的自我介紹(Purposeful Self-introduction)。

　　瓶頸四：學習一勞永逸，忽視動態學習。

　　突破方法：將商務英語學習和工作相結合，常學常新。

　　隨著社會經濟的快速發展，全球化在各行各業的深入，電子商務對企業來說已經不再是一種技術，而是一種必要的策略。這就給商務時間帶來了新的技術、理念、觀念和戰略，同時也帶來了大量新鮮語匯。所以，商務英語的不可能歷久尤新，學習過程更不能一勞永逸。將商務英語學習融入工作和生活，常學常新。
