汽車檢測與維修專業就業前景：
全國有二十多萬人從事汽車技術服務與營銷工作，而接受過系統培訓的服務營銷人員還不到從業人員的百分之十，特別是經過專業化培訓的優秀技術服務與營銷人員，具備專業汽車營銷能力，能夠從事汽車營銷、技術服務、汽車信貸、汽車保險與理賠、二手車交易等復合型人才更是十分匱乏。2009年，我國汽車銷量達1350萬輛，位列世界第一。汽車市場的擴大，使汽車技術服務營銷人員成為就業市場上的搶手貨。 我國汽車制造、汽車銷售、汽車維修、汽車售后服務行業對汽車技術服務人員的預測需求量約為80萬，而汽車維修行業每年需新增從業人員近30萬，急需具有現代服務意識和現代維修技能的行家能手。目前，維修企業的發展和人員素質遠不能滿足行業發展之需。在現有的220萬從業人員中，接受過中級以上系統職業技術教育的專門人才比例僅占20%左右，技師和高級技師只有8%，且年齡偏大，知識老化，一級工人中38.5%文化程度在初中以下，已成為制約汽車維修業發展的“瓶頸”。也正因此，汽車應用技術專業人才培養被列入了“國家制造業和現代服務業技能緊缺人才培養工程”。
